Migraine Treatments

Imigran nasal spray is a brand name for sumatriptan nasal spray, which is a medication used for the treatment of migraine headaches. The nasal spray formulation of sumatriptan is a fast-acting delivery method that can provide relief from migraine symptoms within 15 minutes.

Imigran nasal spray works to treat migraines when an oral tablet may not be suitable. 

Rizatriptan is a migraine medication that comes in both an orodispersible (melt form) and as a tablet. It is a prescription medication used for the treatment of acute migraine symptoms such as headache with or without aura. It belongs to a group of medications called triptans. 

Rizatriptan works only when a migraine attack has started. It is not a prophylactic treatment  for migraines.

Zolmitriptan is a medication used for the acute treatment of migraine headaches. It belongs to a class of drugs known as triptans, which work by binding to specific serotonin receptors in the brain. It is important to note that zolmitriptan is not a preventative medication for migraines and should only be taken when a migraine has already started.

It is available as a tablet, orodispersible tablet and nasal spray.
